ekg2-gnupg software package provides instant messenger and IRC client for UNIX systems - GnuPG, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ekg2-gnupg
ekg2-gnupg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ekg2-gnupg package were installed using the commands given below,
